Day 3: Drive from Skardu to Askole (3,000m)

Embark on a thrilling jeep ride through the Shigar Valley, navigating narrow mountain roads and crossing streams to reach Askole — the last inhabited village before entering the wilderness.

Day 4: Trek from Askole to Jhola (3,200m)

Begin your trek with a gradual hike along the Braldu River. Camp at Jhola, a peaceful spot offering early views of snow-covered peaks.

Day 5: Trek from Jhola to Paiju (3,420m)

Continue along the rugged trail to Paiju, a green oasis with spring water and shade trees. Enjoy stunning views of the Trango Towers and the mighty Baltoro Glacier ahead.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day in Paiju

Rest and acclimatize at Paiju. Porters prepare for the glacier crossing while you relax or explore the nearby surroundings. A critical day to adjust to the altitude.

Day 7: Trek from Paiju to Khoburtse (3,800m)

Day 8: Trek from Khoburtse to Urdukas (4,000m)

A challenging but rewarding hike along the glacier. Arrive at Urdukas, perched above the glacier with jaw-dropping views of Masherbrum and Cathedral Towers.

Day 9: Trek from Urdukas to Goro II (4,300m)

Trek deeper into the Karakoram wilderness. Pass through vast ice fields and glacial rivers to reach Goro II, surrounded by iconic peaks like Muztagh Tower and Gasherbrum IV.

Day 10: Trek from Goro II to Concordia (4,600m)

Arrive at the legendary Concordia – the “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods.” Marvel at the convergence of glaciers and towering peaks: K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II.

Day 11: Rest Day at Concordia (Porters’ Rest)

Rest and acclimatization day. Porters take a break while you soak in one of the most extraordinary mountain views on Earth.

Day 12: Day Trip to K2 Base Camp (5,150m) and Return to Concordia

An early start for the challenging hike to K2 Base Camp. Walk along the Godwin-Austen Glacier under the looming presence of the world's second-highest mountain. Return to Concordia by evening.

Day 13: Trek from Concordia to Urdukas (Return Trek)

Begin your return journey. Retrace your steps over the glacier and camp once again at Urdukas, cherishing the memories of K2.

Day 14: Trek from Urdukas to Liligo

Descend gradually back along the glacier to Liligo. The terrain eases slightly, offering a pleasant walk compared to earlier glacial days.

Day 15: Trek from Liligo to Mongrong

Follow the Braldu River back toward greener valleys. The landscape softens, and vegetation returns. Camp at Mongrong.

Day 16: Trek from Mongrong to Korafong

A relaxed day of trekking through the lower Braldu Valley. Enjoy the dramatic change in scenery as you near Askole.

Day 17: Trek from Korafong to Askole

Your last trekking day! Arrive back in Askole, marking the end of your high-altitude expedition. Celebrate with your team and porters.

Day 18: Drive from Askole to Skardu

Take the return jeep ride through the mountains back to Skardu. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a hot shower and rest.

Day 19: Rest Day in Skardu

A well-earned day of rest and exploration in Skardu. Optional visits to Satpara Lake, Deosai Plains, or souvenir shopping in the local bazaar.

Day 20: Fly from Skardu to Islamabad – End of Tour

Board your flight back to Islamabad. If weather delays occur, an alternate road transfer via the Karakoram Highway can be arranged. Tour ends with unforgettable memories of the K2 trek.
