The Gasherbrum II Expedition is the adventure of a lifetime for mountaineers seeking the thrill of climbing one of the Karakoram’s famed 8,000-meter peaks. Situated in Pakistan’s dramatic Baltistan region, Gasherbrum II stands tall as the 13th highest peak on Earth. Its relatively less technical climb compared to other Himalayan giants makes it a favorite among climbers aspiring to their first major Himalayan ascent.

Our expedition begins in Islamabad, moving to Skardu by air, and then venturing into the heart of Karakoram via the iconic Baltoro Glacier. The journey traverses the spectacular landscape of glaciers, ice walls, and rocky terrain, providing climbers unparalleled views of K2, Broad Peak, and countless soaring peaks.

The climb itself involves careful acclimatization at strategically placed camps, under the meticulous guidance of our experienced Sherpa team. Safety and success are our top priorities, with professional logistical support and equipment ensuring a memorable, secure, and rewarding climb.

Day 02:

Islamabad to Skardu flight or drive (weather dependent).

Day 03:

Rest and preparations in Skardu.

Day 04:

Skardu to Askole (drive).

Day 05-11:

Trek from Askole to Gasherbrum Base Camp via Baltoro Glacier and Concordia.
- Askole → Jhola → Paiyu → Urdukas → Goro II → Concordia → Gasherbrum Base Camp.

Day 12-20:

Climbing period (Base Camp to Summit push & descent back to Base Camp).
- Establish camps (C1, C2, C3), acclimatization, and summit attempt.

Day 21-23:

Return trek from Base Camp to Askole, drive back to Skardu.

Day 24:

Flight or drive from Skardu to Islamabad. Departure.
