Tour overview
Explore Pakistan’s granite paradise on the Charakusa Valley Trek to K7 Base Camp. This challenging but rewarding journey from Hushe village leads through lush meadows and rugged glaciers to dramatic views of K7, K6, Link Sar, and iconic Karakoram spires. I is one of Pakistan’s most spectacular alpine treks, perfect for serious trekkers and climbers.
The K7 Base Camp trek via Charakusa Valley is one of the Karakoram’s most striking and rewarding trekking routes. Starting from the picturesque village of Hushe in Gilgit-Baltistan, the trail follows the Charakusa River into a hidden world of granite towers, alpine meadows, and breathtaking glaciers.
Dominated by the mighty K7 (6,934 m) and K6 (7,282 m), the valley is also famous for spectacular peaks like Nayser Brakk and Link Sar, making it a dream for photographers, climbers, and adventurous trekkers alike.
The route climbs gradually through cultivated fields, green pastures, and dramatic moraine, leading to the remote Spangser (Charakusa Base Camp) at over 4,000 m. The final camp offers panoramic views of towering spires and hanging glaciers.
Less crowded than other Karakoram treks, Charakusa Valley is perfect for those seeking pristine wilderness, Balti culture, and dramatic mountain scenery in one unforgettable journey.
