Tour overview
Take on the challenge of a lifetime and climb Masherbrum (K1) (7,821m)—the “Queen of the Karakoram.” This full-scale expedition, led by expert guides, offers serious mountaineers a rare chance to attempt the summit of one of the world’s most stunning and technically demanding 7,000m peaks in Pakistan.
Masherbrum (7,821m) is the highest peak of the Masherbrum Mountains and the 22nd highest mountain on Earth. It stands as a formidable and rarely climbed giant of the Karakoram, known for its immense vertical relief, technical difficulty, and breathtaking beauty.
Your expedition starts in Islamabad, traveling to Skardu and on to the legendary Hushe Valley. The approach trek leads you through wild landscapes and into base camp at about 4,200m. Here, your acclimatization and technical preparations begin, supported by the most experienced local staff in Pakistan.
The climbing route is steep, challenging, and requires advanced mountaineering skills—including proficiency in glacier travel, rock, and mixed climbing. Our expert guides manage all base camp logistics, route fixing, high-altitude camps (Camp 1, Camp 2, Camp 3), and summit strategy, giving you the best chance for a safe and successful ascent.
This is a true expedition for committed climbers, not tourists. Expect raw adventure, unpredictable weather, and the satisfaction of attempting a world-class summit rarely reached by outsiders.
