Tour overview

Discover the hidden jewel of the Karakoram—Nangma Valley. This short trek offers breathtaking granite spires, lush green meadows, and close-up views of some of Pakistan’s most dramatic rock walls, all in a compact, accessible itinerary perfect for adventure seekers.

The Nangma Valley is one of the most scenic and accessible trekking destinations in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Karakoram range. Nestled in the Hushe region of the Ghangche District, this granite paradise is renowned for its spectacular vertical walls and needle-like spires, including Amin Brakk—often dubbed the “Great Trango of Nangma.”

The trek starts from the picturesque village of Hushe and ascends through green alpine pastures, flower-filled meadows, and dramatic glacial streams before reaching Nangma Base Camp. The valley is ideal for climbers scouting routes, photographers seeking surreal landscapes, and trekkers wanting a short yet rewarding Himalayan experience.

Unlike more strenuous Karakoram treks, Nangma Valley is accessible to fit beginners and experienced hikers alike, offering unforgettable vistas without the need for extreme altitude acclimatization or technical climbing.
